How creators are paid

Chaque mois, la moitié du montant net de votre abonnement est reversée aux films que vous avez réellement regardés, au prorata du temps passé sur chacun — jamais à un classement global. Les créateurs se partagent ensuite cette part selon les règles de leur équipe, et pourront retirer leurs gains estimés ; les retraits seront bientôt disponibles une fois le cadre opérationnel ouvert.

The rule, in one sentence

“Each month, 50 % of the net amount of your subscription — that is, the price paid, minus VAT and payment fees — is split across the films YOU watched, pro rata of watch time. You receive your share under your team’s split rules. Monthly payout from 50 $ accumulated.”

?What is the “net amount”?

When you pay $2 or $7, some of it goes to VAT (tax remitted to the state) and to the bank/payment provider’s fees. What remains after those deductions is the “net amount”. The 50 % paid to creators is calculated on that base — not on the sticker price. We always calculate honestly, on what actually remains.

You watch films

Every film you actually watch is counted. The time you spend on each work is measured.

Step 2

Your time is split

The half of the net amount of YOUR subscription is split across only the films YOU watched, pro rata of watch time.

Step 3

Creators are credited

Each creator receives the share that is theirs under their team’s split rules. Everything is monthly and transparent.

Step 4

You withdraw your earnings

From 50 $ accumulated, you can withdraw your earnings to your bank account, in 50 $ steps.

A simple example

Imagine an Essential subscriber who pays 2 $ this month. After VAT and payment fees, say $1.50 net remains (illustration figure).

→50 % of $1.50 = $0.75 is paid to creators (the other half funds the Platform: hosting, tools, moderation).
→That month, this subscriber watched 2 films: 45 minutes of film A, 15 minutes of film B (60 minutes in total).
→Their $0.75 contribution is split pro rata of time: $0.56 for film A (45/60) and $0.19 for film B (15/60).

Each team then splits its share under its own rules. This subscriber’s money goes only to the films they actually watched — never to a global ranking or to films they did not see.

?Why “pro rata of time”?

Because it is the fairest: a film that holds you for 45 minutes gave you more than a film you left after 2 minutes. Your contribution follows your real attention. Very short views are not counted (they must be “qualified”).

A transparent statement

On the creator side, everything is visible: the balance, earnings film by film, month by month, and by source (subscriptions, ads). Nothing is hidden behind a black box.

Withdrawal is by secure bank transfer, from 50 $ accumulated and in 50 $ steps. A 10-day reserve applies to the most recent payments, to secure transactions against payment reversals.
